What we think

There is no other venue alike in the South of Croatia. This is definitely the venue for those looking for a unique wedding venue. Avoid the summer festival, because the fortress is always used for performances.

There are quite a number of steps to be climbed. The fortress does not have any modern elevators.

Tip: offer guests refreshments along the way up.

Tip: Place some disposable photo camera’s on various heights so that guests can enjoy taking their pictures while climbing up. The views are really stunning already from the stairs.

The fortress comes with no proper lightning, it has to be added and installed in all areas that will be used.

Tip: When planning an event, include a proper budget for lightning.

Getting married at a fortress

As a budget guideline, consider the following prices, which include a romance ceremony at the lower level and a wedding reception on the higher level. The elements below were based on 100 guests. The total cost will be around 29.000 euro.

Ceremony at the Fortress
** Wedding planning and assistance throughout
** Wedding officiant
** Ceremony set up, Decoration of 3 arches at the ceremony level
DINNER at the Fortress
** Dinner costs: menu estimated at 120 euro per person
** Estimation for beverages, based on 40 euro per person
** Rental of Fortress, including lightning & cleaning
** Music: Sound system
** Centerpieces for the dinner
** DSLR videography for 7 hours
** Photography for 7 hours starting before with a pre-ceremony shoot, the ceremony, the congratulations after the ceremony, groups pictures and family shots, private photo shooting for the bride and the groom and if wanted bridesmaids and groomsmen at different locations.
