The most Panoramic wedding ceremony Dubrovnik has to offer
It will not come as a surprise to you that most often, I am being asked for a ceremony with a sea view. How can we disagree with that request, since the sea here is so idyllic, with little islands everywhere and the rolling hills in the background.
When Jas first contacted me, she wanted a very small wedding, so we decided to go for the view point. This decision was taken quite quickly, Jas and Vijay saw the pictures and their decision fell pretty much immediately. Then, several months later and in fact, less than 3 months to go before the wedding, Jas called me in a bit of a panic. Her guest numbers had gone up and they were now, beyond expectancy, at 27 guests. This was over double the numbers we were planning for… too much for the view point venue…
A new ceremony venue had to be picked… fast.
The first idea was to have the wedding ceremony at the Lounge Terrace of the Hotel Croatia, we had already booked it for dinner, so it made sense that we would then also use it for the ceremony. But in that case, there would be no integration of Dubrovnik old town in the wedding day.
After reviewing all venues in Dubrovnik, nothing really fit their brief, we started to feel a sense of increasing panic… so I took a risk and I suggested this spot up on the hill. I had never done a wedding ceremony on this exact spot, so I was asking Jas and Vijay for their vote of confidence. I am so glad they took the jump and decided to go ahead with it without even seeing the venue, without me being able to show how the ceremony there could look like.
I am happy to be able to show you some pictures of this new wedding ceremony spot, and grateful to Jas and Vijay they took the risk and said their I Do’s on the most panoramic wedding spot in Dubrovnik!
After the ceremony, everybody went for pictures in the old town of Dubrovnik, followed by a wedding reception at the Hotel Croatia
